Welcome to the traditional studios and apartments in Kardamili village,"Skardamoula’s Garden".Kostas and Yioula Georgouleas, attentive hosts, with their two daughters Takia and Sandy manage these traditional-style guestrooms and do their best to ensure that your accomadation is perfect through and through. Yioula speaks perfect English and you will find the hospitality at Skardamoula’s Garden easy-going and pleasurable. We decided to join the tradition to the modern facilities. At the ground floor there was an old olive mill of 1850 with thick stone walls and high ceilings. The village of Vitsa (or Vezitsa as it was called some years ago), is built 37 km from Ioannina and 960 metres above the sea level. Until 1820 Vitsa and Monodentri constituted one village council. Vitsa became widely known when the ancient cattle-farm settlement of the prehistoric era came into light in 1965 after excavations in Genitsari.
