Villa Afroditi is located outside the ravishingly beautiful village Modi at the Platanias municipality, inside a serene and green environment of fruitful orchards such as orange-trees and olive groves. The distance to the city of Chania is about 13 km and only 1.5 km to the cosmopolitan village of Platanias. The nearest beach is not more than 1 km away. In a beautiful "cretan" environment, the Villa Afroditi waits of you to put you up. Apart from the calm and the peacefulness that the natural environment generously offers, the geographical position of the villa provides the possibility, for rapid access in the heart of night life, in places such as Platanias and the Enetiko Chania Harbour. Shops and all kind of services (super-market, bakery, pharmacy, post etc) are also only a few minutes away to reach. Moreover just nearby are situated archaeological places, beautiful beaches, museums etc. Therefore the stay in Afroditi Villa, promises a combination of the calm of a village, the contact with the nature (routes for walk or bicycling) but also a remarkable night life, entertainment and shopping experience and last but not least a lot of visits in a plethora of historical and cultural sightseeing. Villa Afroditi was built in 2005 on a property surface of 3000 square meters. The three-storied villa has an area of 300 square meters and consists of a living/dining-room, five bedrooms, a kitchen, three WC's, a children's corner and a fitness room. In addition there are two large terraces and several small balconies. On the first floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, a roomy integrative living/dining-room with a fire-place, one bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower. The first terrace is connected to the living room and has a panoramic view to the sea and the small island Thodorou. The second one is suitable for resting with view towards the garden and the green landscape. On the second floor you come across to four sunny bedrooms; two of them with one double bed each and the other two with two single beds each. The bedrooms have roomy wardrobes, commodes, television sets, large mirrors and balconies with view to the sea and the mountain. In addition there are two bathrooms, one of them with a shower and the other one with a bath tub, which is even equipped with a water- massage function. The ground floor has a view to the garden and the swimming pool. It is equipped with a play corner, a fitness room and a storage room. The play corner is equipped with table tennis, chess, basketball basket and the fitness room with a static bicycle, a walk lane, weights u.v.m. In the middle of the garden, surrounded by orange trees and cypresses, flowers and lawn, stands the 11mx5,5m large swimming pool, which has a depth of up to 1,70m. However the swimming pool has also a flat zone, which is suitable for children. Moreover, there is also a barbecue, which is built according to traditional Cretan architecture, a small basketball space and a hedged parking place for at least three cars.
