On the beach of Drota, a settlement in the south of Lesvos and the port of Akrasi, you will find the tavern of the same name "Drota", which was created with love and passion by Maria Xenitelli in 2017, wanting to revive the family tradition and the deliciousness of authentic food .

The influences and inspiration came from her grandfather George and grandmother Marika, who ran a traditional coffee shop, in the environment in which Maria grew up and along the way she wanted to combine the authentic recipes of the past with her own culinary creativity and the raw material of each season.

Taverna Ammolofos was born in 2012 in the Issos area, in Lefkimmi, Corfu, amidst a landscape of unique natural beauty with sand dunes and the endless sea. The shop started from a small enclosed space, which with personal work, passion, and the help of friends and acquaintances we transformed year after year into a hospitable destination loved by locals and visitors.

From the very beginning, our goal was to create a tavern that would not just offer food, but a complete hospitality experience. At Ammolofos you will enjoy authentic Greek traditional cuisine, with an emphasis on local flavors and fresh Corfu products. On our menu you will find spit roasts, grilled meats, traditional cooked dishes, but also fresh seafood that arrives daily from the Ionian Sea.

Our philosophy is simple: good quality, warm service and prices that remain affordable, so that everyone can enjoy our experience again and again. With our tables almost on the beach, the food is accompanied by the coolness of the sea, the Corfu sun and our hospitality that is always at the center.

In the village of Kleitoria, very close to Kalavryta and the ski resort, the Palivos Tavern is located in the central square of the village. This Greek restaurant with its beautiful large windows facing the square and its trees, serves daily and all seasons the delicacies of Greek nature with traditional Peloponnese recipes.

This family business has been operating for years with local products from local producers, always choosing the best raw material. The difference can be seen in each dish as the flavors are truly excellent. The menu consists mainly of cooked meals of the day and grilled dishes of the hour with passion.

Fresh salads and bread, local olives and wine too. All served with attention and respect to the customer, with rich portions and smells that overwhelm you. The fresh fried potatoes in olive oil take us back to our childhood and the hot boiled greens give us a taste of the whole nature of the Greek land.

A menu that changes each season suggesting only that it is available and freshest in each time period. The stove at the back of the restaurant in winter warms the traveler and relaxes him after a full day on the mountain, while in summer he can enjoy the coolness of the trees in the square and the comfortable seats of Taverna Palivos.
