It all started in Spring 2013, when Spyros Koronios from Perama and Efi Skoura, who originated from the Ladias Ypatis, decided with the appetite and taste to renovate the old tavern - restaurant with a history of 40 years. When I left Sifnos (my birthplace), I packed with me the urge to cook which is an old tradition, and a strong characteristic of my land of origin. Inside me the small seed of knowledge and love (to cook) had already been planted and grew up to be huge, fed by the warmth of the Helian people.

In a warm, cozy place, located in the fields, along with my colleagues who are young people all coming from the surrounding area, we have fun by cooking the products of the fertile Helian land. Our menu is based on seasonal products. One part of our menu consists of dishes made by using classic recipes and the other part consists of successful products of experimentations made by using local cooking ingredients.

Our various dishes taste really unique because: chickpeas get prepared in a clay pot in the oven, the caramelized onions and bean dish comes along with octopus cooked in wine, local feta cheese in sesame crust comes with sweet grape berries from our vine and the local dish “Zegoori” transforms to “mastelo” from Sifnos (Sifnayko). The lamb dish is unique, offers our visitors the chance to taste “the definition” of divine taste as we cook it with pomegranate molasses.

Our great love, “the sweets”, become an offer to our visitors, as a corollary to a complete meal. Sweets are also made having taken into consideration the seasonality philosophy. Among them our guest can taste delicacies such as: yogurt tarts with pomegranate jam, orange pies, sweet beetroot in local yoghurt, Sifnos almond pies and many more.

Our garden full of herbs and fruits provides us with all of the raw materials necessary in order to prepare different types of spectacular sauce, pesto, accompanying dishes and of course several different types of jam and preserves.
