Our story begins in 1953 when the first butcher of the "Panitsa" family, Charalambos Panitsas, began to learn the work on meat. The first traditional butcher shop was founded in 1978 on Papaflessa Street and was the first generation butcher shop. In 1996, Andreas Panitsas founded the first second generation butcher shop on Zakynthos Street, which was moved to Ovrya in 2002.
In the area of Rio, in 2017, Charalambos Panitsas opened the third generation store offering the high quality products of the company from one end of Patras to the other.
The needs of the market in the field of wholesale, which had already been developed by our company from the second generation store, led us to inaugurate in November 2018 a new state-of-the-art installation of 2000 sq.m. at Peristera, next to the Industrial Area of Patras, where the meat is cut and processed in accordance with all the requirements of regulation 853/2004 and the Food and Beverage Code.
In the two stores we have at both "ends" of Patras, we serve retail customers and more. The staff of our stores is trained and very polite and with its experience can suggest to our visitors the appropriate product according to their needs. In our stores the visitor is filled with images and aromas from all corners of Greece and abroad, in terms of the delicious culture of each place on meat and meat products, and can combine them with the wide variety of groceries we have.
