The Museum of Megara exhibits objects coming from the excavations of G. Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities in the town of Megara and the wider region. The findings cover the period from the 8th century BC up to the 2nd century AD. The purpose of its foundation was to house some of the findings of the Archaeological Collection of Megara and form a small lung culture on the outskirts of western Athens.
