The first beer house in Athens on Stournari Street founded in 1992 and launched a new genre in the field of catering and gastronomy. We have been operating for 17 years with outstanding success and we are a reference point for the '' beer scene'' market.
The space is intimate and very hospitable. The colors and materials that predominate are earthy stone - wood.
The '' BEER ACADEMY '' is definitely one of the hottest spots in Athens. Our music consists of plenty of classic rock and blues with some exceedances at times. Our food, which is always following the style of a beer house rather than that of a restaurant, we think is excellent. That means first quality German sausages - cheese - cold cuts - meat which we richly offer, delicious on low prices.
The famous pork knuckle, the delicacy of the Tsars, steamed mussels, probably the finest German sausages and other snacks offer excellent culinary delights and perfectly accompany our beer list. Our catalogue is certainly one of the most updated and representative giving the possibily of multiple tastings. There are around one hundred (100) beer labels and six (6) first class drafts and beer selection like the famous guinness, pilsener urquell, warsteiner, paulaner, hefe weisse, scosser alt and unique and very rarely as draft Quad rework monastic beer '' LA TRAPPE ''.
Staff at the beer house is incredibly attentive and polite but mostly highly skilled in their knowledge about 'beer'
We are open every day from 13:00-02:00 and Sunday from 19:00-01:00.
The famous beer utensils and accessories being used in the "Beer Academy" have made history. Many people have laughed at the heavy glass, or have lost bets with a beer meter. Many are tose of course who entertain daily with special 2L, 3L or 15L glasses and even those who try in special wooden cups boiled trunk the only beer served at 75 C with a special, traditional way.
The service also plays an important role, an integral element in the enjoyment of beer. Each type of beer is served in its own way and always in its own glass. Serving gets a rite character maximizing enjoyment while the specialized staff is ready and willing to make suggestions depending on availability and customer psychology.
