The current majestic church and the adjacent monastery of Ammos experienced several phases. Destroyed during the great earthquake disrepair Zakynthos in 1893.

Special Fundraising Committee in 1900 undertook the construction of a new church, the opening of which took place on August 22, 1948.

Particularly important Temple artwork are:

a) The silver sculptured Larnaca the Sacred Relic, George Diamantis Bafas work (1829)

b) The icons on the iconostasis with silver lining from the same artist (1829)

c) the famous painting of the Litany of St. manually Coutouzis priest Nicholas (1766)

d) the carved and gilded "Room" St. and more.

The murals have been narrated by hagiographers Nicholas Stratouli, Dionysius Andravidioti, John Caruso, Charalambos Doctor and John Colak, while images of the Temple, except the four central hand priest Nicholas Coutouzis, painted by Dimitrios Pelekasis and Chris Ruse.

The Byzantine Museum of Zakynthos

The Byzantine Museum of Zakynthos is located on Solomos Square, Zakynthos Town. Here you can admire a rich collection of Byzantine frescoes from the 19th century, Greek and Byzantine sculpture, statues, and some beautiful images kept by the island's churches. In the museum there are works of great painters such as Doxaras, Katouzis, the bag, the Kandounis and Damascus.

The Cultural Center of Zakynthos

Another impressive building next to the church of St. Nicholas at the pier, is the Cultural Center of Zakynthos and the Public Library, one of the best in Greece with a collection of over 50.000 books. The Library includes a small art gallery, small dolls with local costumes, photographic material and the historical archive of Zakynthos with documents.

The St. Nicholas Church was built in 1561 and is the oldest building in the square. It is the only Venetian building that still exists, church with very important historical value because the patron saint of the island served there.

The statue is located in the central square, which got its name (Solomos Square). He wrote the Hymn to Freedom "that became the National Anthem of Greece.

In the area of ​​Agia Marina, overlooking the gulf of Chania, Villa Ariella is located.

The villa is a two-storey property with a size of 180 square meters and has four bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, four (4) bathrooms and can accommodate up to eight (8) persons.

On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, oven, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, and everything else required for a comfortable stay.

There is a spacious living room - dining room with direct access to the outdoor areas and the swimming pool. At the same level there is a spacious bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a bath for oxygen therapy. An internal staircase leads to the upper floor where there are three bedrooms, two with a double bed and one with two single beds.

Right next to the center of Mykonos' old town and above the new Port, in Tourlos, is located our studio apartment.

It has a magnificent view, access and its own private parking space.
