The PETRA MARE hotel (1st class – luxury 4-star) was built in 1980 and has been renovated several times over the last years, creating a pleasant environment with many comforts. The combination of excellent services offered together with the family atmosphere, bring many of our guests back every year to enjoy an ideal place for a truly unforgettable holiday.
The 4 storey hotel is comprised of 223 spacious rooms, most of them with sea view, a balcony, Air Conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, music, minibar, safe deposit box, large and comfortable bathrooms with hair dryer. Included in the hotel’s facilities, are a reception hall, an internet access area, three elevators, pleasant sitting rooms, a hair-dresser’s, a gym, a sauna, a whirlpool bathtub, a mini-market, a massage parlour – medical centre, a game room with pool tables and arcade machines, as well as a multi-purpose room, all available to our guests.
In the main restaurant, guests may enjoy breakfast and dinner, choosing from a great variety of delicacies offered in a very rich buffet, as well as the local specialty dishes prepared before their eyes. You may also enjoy a drink or your coffee at the bar’s wonderful terrace which, overlooking the sea, provides a panoramic view of the city. On the beautiful beach right in front of the hotel, there are umbrellas and deckchairs free to use by the hotel’s guests, as well as a variety of water sport equipment to rent.
The outdoor areas, besides the beautiful gardens, contain a unique area designed for children which consists of a playground, an especially designed room (children’s club) and a big swimming pool with a pirate ship and water slides as well as several other games for our young friends. There is also a large swimming pool with a whirlpool corner and, next to it, a snack bar and the amphitheatre available for various events.
