Achillopouleio General Hospital of Volos operates since 1903 and was once the second largest hospital in Greece after the 'Evangelismos Hospital'. In 2007 its new ward was inaugurated within an area of 33500 sq.m. The hospital’s main objective is the provision of health care services to the citizens due to the excellent staff training.
