- Our company has been successfully dealing with the hot galvanizing for 35 years. Hot dip galvanizing is a method for protecting iron objects from oxidation (rusting) for many years. More specifically, after cleaning the iron objects deeply by chemical or technical means, or both, they are immersed in a tank with zinc fluid temperature 460 ° C in order to form a zinc coating that is metallurgically bonded to the surface of the iron. The hot dip galvanizing, is adaptable to almost all types of fabricated or not iron objects such as wire, pipes of all types, tanks, large and small constructions with their accessories, and more. HOT GALVANIZING The process of hot galvanizing is: 1. Syrmatoma (if required) 2. Degreasing (if required) 3. Dipping in hydrochloric acid tank, lifting and dipping 2-3 times. 4. Dipping in the water tank. 5. Transportation and dipping in FLUX tank to prepare the surfaces. 6. Dry material with hot propane stream. 7. Dip to the zinc melt. 8. Aposyrmatosi - cleaning ashes and drip. 9. Zinc layer adhesion Inspection according to ASTM D-153. ROTARY GALVANIZING The rotary galvanizing is being used in both types of plating, except that the components come into perforated baskets for immersion in molten zinc and then, as far as the hot galvanizing is concerned, they are placed in a centrifuge vessel thereby the excess zinc is eliminated (screws and other small parts) while with the electrolytic galvanizing a quick drying of the materials is achieved.
