"Carotas", "the wheel" and "the wood stove" was for him the beginning of his study in pottery. the stages managed to capitalize on the talent he inherited from his father and grandparents. Today he works in the same place his ancestors worked and tries to preserve the forms and designs that characterize Sifnite Ceramics. At the same time, it strives to meet the needs of modern lifestyles, always working diligently. In his workshop there are decorative items, utensils, and a wide variety of refractory utensils made with Sifnite clay, which he himself makes after careful selection of soil. After all, Sifnos is gifted with raw material that is generously offered to anyone who works with it with love and respect. As a genuine Sifnian tsikalas, Francesco is always willing to talk to you about his work and build on his wheel anything that would please handmade pottery friends. All the utensils, decorations and utensils are handmade and painted with great love and care. There are refractory utensils of all sizes made with our Sifnekos soil production gate. Niki Gofa - Light in Art - Ceramics Workshop - Ceramics Lessons - Pottery - Form Sculpture - Wheel - Ceramic Painting - Moschato Attiki
Niki Gofa Light in Art - Ceramics Workshop - Ceramics Lessons - Pottery - Form Sculpture - Wheel - Ceramic Painting - Moschato Attiki Niki Gofa has been living and working in Athens since 1986. Her artistic career began with painting, where she always expressed her desire to see her works escape the paper and take shape and dimension in space. Her search for a three-dimensional expression led her to clay, which allowed her to give material substance to her artistic ideas. Thus, her journey into the world of ceramics began. From the School of Fine Arts, he moved on to the Institut Statale D' Arte per la Ceramica in Faenza, Italy, where he studied modern ceramics alongside accomplished artists, sculptors and ceramists. These experiences shaped her artistic identity and pushed her to explore new forms of expression with ceramics. Since 1986, she has maintained her own pottery workshop, creating original clay works such as forms and sculptures, and carving ceramic surfaces. Her artistic activity has been enriched with many individual and group exhibitions, from 1981 until today, while her works have received many distinctions. He is a member of the Chamber of Visual Arts of Greece (E.E.T.E.) and the Panhellenic Union of Ceramicists and Potters (PEKA). Alongside ceramics, he has been involved for many years in interior design and lighting, creating compositions that combine the ceramic form with other materials such as wood, glass, metal and lighting. Her works, which adorn many private collections in Greece and abroad, give a unique style to the spaces they decorate. In the last 10 years, he created the Ceramic Workshop "Light in Art" in Moschato, where he teaches the art of ceramics to children, adults and cultural institutions. With a love for imparting knowledge and encouraging creativity, she organizes educational programs for kindergartens, elementary and high schools, giving children the opportunity to learn about ceramic art through an interactive experience of exploration and skills. Niki Gofa continues to create with passion and inspire her students, leaving her mark on the world of contemporary ceramic art.Category: CERAMIC CONSTRUCTION
