He studied Medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from 1988 to 1994 and, after training in the Specialty of Biopathology-Microbiology at the General State Hospital of Athens ("Georgios Gennimatas" Hospital), in 2001 acquired the title of Specialist Biopathologist-Microbiologist. From 2001 to 2003 he was a Scientific Associate and Head of the Hematology Department of the Quality Control Laboratories "MICROANALYSIS". From 2003 until today he works in the Private Sector as a freelancer in the staff of the Clinic (I. Panga 22, Ampelokipi). From 2004 until today he serves as a Doctor of the Microbiological Laboratory of the Social Insurance Institution (Agia Paraskevi Branch). In the context of continuing medical education and training he has participated in important Greek and international conferences, as well as in various postgraduate seminars. He is a member of the Hellenic Microbiological Society, the Hellenic Diabetological Society and the Society of Evrytanian Scientists.
