The soil engineering laboratory of N. D. Loukidis was founded in 2006, being an extension of the activities of the Office of Geological and Geotechnical studies. With the establishment of the laboratory, the purpose of the company is to provide integrated services in the field of geotechnical studies as the office has many years of experience in performing geo-research work and in the preparation of geotechnical studies. The workshop is housed in an area of 200 sq.m. Geologist Nikolaos Loukidis received his degree in 1978 from the Department of Geology of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is a member of the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece (GEOTEE), while he has many years of employment and preparation of hydrogeological and soil technical studies. In 2006, he founded the Ionia Labs Soil Engineering Laboratory, in collaboration with the also geologist Vakalas Ioannis, in Nea Ionia, at 13 Pavlou Mela Street. Thanks to the many years of experience of the specialized staff of Ionia Labs, it is able to provide comprehensive services in geotechnical studies. The modern equipment in its possession is based on international standards and consists of devices and instruments, which cover a large part of the soil engineering tests.
