Open: Tuesday to Sunday: 8.00-15.00, Monday: closed Last entrance: 15΄ before the closing hour Tickets: Full: €2, Reduced: €1 The project entitled ''Exhibition of the Igoumenitsa Archaeological Museum, Thesprotia'' was included in the 3rd CSF in 2003 and was completed on 30.06.2009. Chronologically, the exhibits cover all archaeological periods from the Middle Palaiolithic (100.000 BC) to the Post Byzantine period (17th cent. AD.). They represent a variety of categories, such as metalwork, stonework, architecture, sculpture, pottery, coinage, jewellery, miniature art, glass industry, organic residues etc. They derive from rescue excavations carried out in the entire prefecture of Thesprotia and constitute the material witnesses of various expressions of human life throughout all historical periods. FOLKLORE MUSEUM OF FOINIKION
Open: The visit to the Museum will be scheduled after contacting the above phone numbers. The Folklore Museum of Foinikion is housed in a two storey building with four rooms. The four (4) rooms of the Museum house mainly household items into four thematic categories. In the first category there are presented objects to rural and farming activities. The second category includes items of kitchen space. The third category consists of items mezzanine, while the fourth exhibits jewelery, religious items, documents, uniforms and handicraft items. The exhibits included mainly to the period 1840-1970.Category: MUSEUMS
