Liuba Houses are ideal for families and couples seeking peaceful and stress-free holidays within nature and close to the beach. Here, you will frequently see our family taking care of the gardens and our own production of vegetables and fruits, always respective though of our guests' privacy. This is the place where the guests soon become our friends and return to Liuba year after year. Fishing is amongst our favorite activities. With our own boat and by using special fishing techniques we catch fresh fish throughout the summer. A good catch is of course a perfect excuse for a delicious dinner staring fish soup or grilled fish, that we enjoy all together in the dinner nights we throw for our guests.Category: TRADITIONAL VILLAGES

PALLADIO HOTEL
Welcome to Palladio Hotel! Palladio Hotel is a hotel in Portaria offering a most varied range of services. Its full respect of the traditional architecture of the region differentiates it from the rest of the hotels, in one of Pelion's most idyllic villages. Among the most frequently mentioned destinations in the international travel and leisure press, Portaria is ideal for a vacation all year round, offering great variety of choice both to sea and mountain-lovers. The hotel premises, a model local architecture building complex, stands out among the old mansions which have been transformed - not always successfully for that matter- into hotels in Portaria. The traditional building was built at a first stage, followed by the restoration of the neoclassical building of 1892. Both buildings operate as of 1990, consisting of five(5) rooms each. All original woodwork and stonework material has been preserved, in full harmony with the landscape. Overlooking the Pagasitikos bay and the village of Makrinitsa, the distinguished character of our premises can guarantee moments of calm and relaxation, bringing man closer to nature. Wooden furniture, fireplaces in almost all rooms, finely handcrafted carpets and traditional folk items adorn the rooms and the common living areas of one of the most lavish hotels in Portaria. August 2004 saw the completion of the renovation of yet another three units: * one (1) neoclassical building dating from 1880, which consists of four (4) rooms * one (1) building dating from 1850, which consists of two (2) two-storey duplex suites * one (1) stone building dating from 1820, which consists of two (2) rooms with a private yard overlooking Makrinitsa village. Elias Kakaliagos, the owner, has preserved the classy character of all hotel premises, highlighting the symmetry of the design, the harmony of the colours and the warmth of the material used. Wood and stone are the prevalent materials, from the meticulously crafted finishes on the roof to the window frames of wood-crafting mastery. Thanks to the scrupulous restoration, our hotel has managed to maintain unaltered those traditional features that all hotels in Portaria should have, combining them perfectly with all modern amenities.Category: TRADITIONAL VILLAGES
